Day 3 - LONDON – CAMBRIDGE – YORK/HARROGATE

We will begin the tour in Cambridge, a quintessential university city. We’ll take a walking tour, admiring the architecture from different eras in the old university towns. Founded in 1209, Cambridge is the second oldest English-speaking university in the world, and great names like Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawking, and Charles Darwin passed through its classrooms. The university’s influence is felt throughout the city. Before we reach today's final destination, we’ll take a break for lunch (not included). Finally, we will arrive in the city of York, where we will take a walk through its charming streets before heading to the hotel. We will take photos on the popular street The Shambles, a well-preserved medieval street with timber-framed buildings. Originally full of butcher shops, the name "Shambles" comes from the Anglo-Saxon word "fleshammels", meaning "meat shelves". Today, the street is full of shops, cafés, and restaurants, and it is believed to have inspired Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter books and films. We will also pass by the splendid Gothic York Minster, the second largest in Northern Europe, famous for its beautiful stained glass and imposing towers. Dinner, accommodation, and breakfast at the DoubleTree by Hilton York, Holiday Inn York, Crown Plaza Harrogate, or similar.

Day 4 - YORK/HARROGATE – DURHAM – ALNWICK – EDINBURGH

We will depart for Durham, where we will take a brief walking tour and visit its captivating cathedral, a masterpiece of Norman architecture that dominates the city from atop a hill. With its rich history and stunning architecture, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will continue our journey north, where we will have a panoramic view of Alnwick Castle, an imposing fortress with more than 700 years of history. The official residence of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland, the castle has served as a filming location for movies such as 'Harry Potter', 'Elizabeth', and 'Robin Hood'. After lunch (not included), we will head toward the coast until we arrive in Edinburgh, where we will take a brief panoramic tour to introduce this illustrious city. Accommodation and breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City Centre, Ibis Styles Hotel Edinburgh St Andrews Square, Holiday Inn Hotel Edinburgh Zoo or similar.

Day 5 - EDINBURGH

This day will be free to explore the historic city of Edinburgh at your own pace. Walk along the famous Royal Mile, the avenue that connects the imposing Edinburgh Castle to the Palace of Holyrood. Visit St. Giles’ Cathedral, where the Crown of Scotland and the Stone of Destiny are kept. Immerse yourself in the National Gallery of Scotland or explore the Royal Yacht Britannia, the former official residence of the British Royal Family. Edinburgh is the second most visited city in the UK after London and has been home to the Scottish Parliament since 1999. Don’t miss the impressive Parliament building and relax in the Princes Street Gardens. Accommodation and breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City Centre, Ibis Styles Hotel Edinburgh St Andrews Square, Holiday Inn Hotel Edinburgh Zoo or similar.

Day 6 - EDINBURGH – STIRLING – TROSSACHS – GLASGOW

We will leave Edinburgh to begin a journey full of breathtaking landscapes and picturesque villages such as Stirling and Callander. We will ascend through mountain passes offering incredible panoramic views. We will make a stop along the way to visit a whisky distillery in the region, where we will learn about the production process, from the selection of the grapes to the maturation in oak barrels. We will continue to the Trossachs National Park, an oasis of natural beauty in the heart of Scotland, where we will pause for lunch (not included). Finally, we will arrive in Glasgow, the largest city in Scotland. During the panoramic tour, you will be charmed by its Victorian architecture and unique character. Affectionately nicknamed 'Glasvegas', Glasgow offers a perfect blend of culture, shopping, gastronomy, and nightlife. We will enjoy its green spaces, the famous Buchanan Street—ideal for shopping—and visit its cathedral before heading to the hotel. Accommodation and breakfast at the AC Hotel by Marriott Glasgow, Clayton Glasgow or similar.

Day 7 - GLASGOW – BELFAST – DUBLIN

We will depart from Glasgow for the Scottish coast, where we will board a ferry to cross the Irish Sea to Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland. In Belfast, we will take a panoramic tour of the city, exploring its past and present. We will uncover the story behind the nicknames ‘David and Goliath’, admire Cave Hill Mountain, which inspired Jonathan Swift to write Gulliver's Travels. We will also pass by the painted murals that reflect the differences between Protestant and Catholic neighborhoods and finally arrive at the Titanic Quarter, where we will have free time for lunch (not included) and to explore the area. We will continue our journey to the Mourne Mountains, eventually arriving in Dublin, the capital of the Republic of Ireland. In Dublin, we will take a panoramic tour of the city, discovering its main attractions: the Customs House, Dublin Castle, Phoenix Park, and the city’s colorful doors. We will also visit Trinity College and the Protestant Cathedral of St. Patrick. Accommodation and breakfast at the Croke Park Hotel, Iveagh Gardens Hotel or similar.

Day 8 - DUBLIN – CLONMACNOISE – ATHLONE – GALWAY

We will travel westward in Ireland, with our first stop at the Monastery of Clonmacnoise, a 4th-century monastic complex founded by Saint Ciaran, located on the banks of the River Shannon. We will admire the architecture and history of this sacred site, which houses the tombs of some of the most important Celtic kings. We will continue to Athlone, where we will have free time for lunch (not included) and to explore the town and its medieval streets. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Galway, known as the “City of the Tribes.” We will take a walking tour to get to know its most iconic areas, such as the Spanish Arch, the Protestant Church, and Lynch Castle. We will learn about the origins of the famous Irish pubs and visit the Catholic Cathedral, the last one built in Ireland, in 1965. We will have free time to explore the city or visit the charming shopping center, where you can find typical Irish products, clothing, souvenirs, and more. Dinner, accommodation and breakfast at the Connacht Hotel, Shannon Springs Hotel, Lough Rea Hotel & Spa or similar.

Day 9 - GALWAY – CLIFFS OF MOHER – LIMERICK – CORK

We will leave County Galway behind and travel south in search of the Cliffs of Moher. First, we will cross 'The Burren', a vast expanse of limestone terrain protected by UNESCO, stretching to the Atlantic Ocean. Its Gaelic name, "Rocky Land", perfectly reflects the rugged landscape that will accompany us on this journey. Upon reaching the Cliffs of Moher, we will be amazed by their towering height of 200 meters above sea level and their 8 kilometers of length. We will experience a feeling of freedom and connection with nature like no other, and we may visit the visitor center. We will continue our trip to the city of Limerick, where we will have free time to walk its streets and have lunch (not included) by the River Shannon. After lunch, we will head to County Cork, known as “The Golden Vale.” This region is famous for its spectacular landscapes, cultural and gastronomic richness, and historical heritage that rivals other major cities in Ireland. Barley production made Cork one of the main whiskey producers in the country. In Cork, we will take a panoramic tour of the city, visiting iconic sites such as St. Anne Shandon Church, famous for its leaning bell tower, the “Four-Faced Liar” Clock, and the Protestant Cathedral of St. Fin Barre. We will discover that Cork, like Venice, is a city built on water and is home to one of the largest commercial ports in the world. Accommodation and breakfast at the River Lee Hotel, Imperial Hotel, Garryvoe Hotel, Acton Hotel Kinsale, or similar.

Day 10 - CORK – ROCK OF CASHEL – DUBLIN

We will head to the Rock of Cashel, an imposing fortress that rises above the Irish plain. In 1647, it was the site of a massacre in which 3,000 people were killed by Oliver Cromwell's troops. We will have free time to photograph this impressive fortress and stroll through its medieval streets, soaking in the unique atmosphere of this magical place. We will continue our journey to Dublin, arriving at lunchtime (not included), and will have the rest of the afternoon free to enjoy this cosmopolitan city. Dublin offers a wide variety of activities for all tastes, from museums and art galleries to walks through its lively streets and vibrant nightlife. This will be the last chance of the tour to shop in Irish lands. You’ll find a wide range of typical products such as handicrafts, clothes, books, and, of course, whiskey. Accommodation and breakfast at the Croke Park Hotel, Iveagh Gardens Hotel or similar.

Day 11 - DUBLIN – CONWY – LIVERPOOL

We will have free time for lunch (not included), to visit the local port and admire the Elizabethan-style houses before continuing our journey. We will proceed to Liverpool, where we will take a panoramic tour of the city. • All departures are guaranteed with a Portuguese-speaking guide, provided there is a minimum of 8 passengers. If this number is not reached, passengers with bookings for those specific dates may be reassigned to a bus with a Spanish-speaking guide.
  • Accommodation in Scotland: The services and facilities of the hotels used in our itineraries generally correspond to 3* or 4* hotels. However, regardless of the hotel category, in the British Isles — and especially in Scotland — it is common to find some establishments without elevators, accessible rooms, or air conditioning to mitigate the heat. The climate in the British Isles is usually cold or mild, with temperatures rarely exceeding 25°C.
  • Due to the Annual Labour Party Conference in Liverpool, the hotel in the city may be changed to Manchester or nearby areas without prior notice, if hotel demand requires it. This conference usually takes place around September.
  • Liverpool and Edinburgh: Starting June 2025 in Liverpool and from 2026 in Edinburgh, itineraries including overnight stays in Liverpool and Edinburgh will include a local tourist tax, aimed at improving the city’s infrastructure and services. The cost is already included in the tour price. If other locations included in the itinerary with overnight stays begin charging a similar tax, these fees will not be included and must be paid directly by the traveler.
